Canine Composition

6 x 12 mixed media

This definitely goes down in history as the second most pretentious title I’ve ever used, but I couldn’t think of much of anything else.

The most pretentious title is “Untitled Genius,” because there was a Very Serious Photographer at the coffee shop I’d been doodling at who had hung a piece called “Untitled Genius” and being me, I had to immediately do a similarly titled piece. I believe it featured a hamster shoving crayons up its nose. So there’s that.

Prints available, as always, and there’s an original for sale too, although I was gonna take it off to ConQuest, or AC, or wherever.

I want to see the Untitled Genius doodle. Hamster with crayons up it's nose? Yes!

What ^this person^ said!

Ursula does GREAT hamsters. :D

Thirded! Her hamsters are always hilarious.

Fourthed!

I'll second (or third or fourth) the request to see "Untitled Genius"... though I'd also be quite happy if you ever chose to do "Titled Genius", which, I guess, would be a hamster with a crown ... shoving crayons up its nose.

Livejournal needs to add "Like" buttons to the comments sections...that's all I'm sayin'.

I suggest "Foofy Wuffy #2" as the title for the piece at hand.

I'm really hoping you have a scan or picture of "Untitled Genius" to share with the class.

It does seem to have somehow missed the usual "original for sale, prints available" approach.
Perhaps it will become (gasp!) a Lost Masterwork?

Hey! That's my dog!

(Seriously, I don't have a huge pile of money or anything, and I dunno what one of your originals goes for, but I'll start the bidding at a hundred bucks.)

You turn up in the darndest places.

You know I've always been hell on socks.

Losing an eBay auction for the original is the universe's way of saying "SO BUY A PRINT, FOOL".

...or maybe that's Mister T. I get those confused sometimes.

And this, my dear Ursula, is an example of why you are held in such affection :)

So nice to start the day with a laugh. I giggled half the way to work.

I read that as 'Untitled Genus' and immediately said, 'well, Canis'. Dang bio-dad...

You could always do a follow-up to the image with the same dog as a zombie and call it "Canine Decomposition."
