Tumblr Attack!

I got one. For some reason. I don’t know. There’s a gap in my memory and the smell of burnt toast.

Anyway, I’ve been posting sketchbook excerpts in it. The few people who followed me in a blinding moment of enthusiasm have probably been rather disappointed that all they’re getting is crappy doodles of undead hamsters and pirates from 2005, but hey, I have to amuse myself somehow!

More Social Media!
Like you need more… but it is facinating to see more of your work.

Well, if you need a reminder of anything, you can just check fuckyeahursulavernon.tumblr.com/

They've put up almost everything of yours so far.

I follow you everywhere, although you've never blown in my ear.

Here comes the flood of "YOU MUST FINISH THIS ONE!" messages. :P

Nope, can't say that I have. :D I await the reblog conversations with Seanan McGuire, as they should be somewhat easier to follow than the back and forth tweets.

"reblog conversations" and "back and forth tweets" summarize everything wrong with attempting to converse on Tumblr and Twitter.

Comment threads >> either!

I hope you don't stop posting pictures here!

Hey, Ursula, have you seen this post by Patricia C. Wrede?

http://pcwrede.com/blog/my-writing-life-an-adventure/

It's the adventure game version of "Life as a Writer"...

OMGS that is brilliant! I loved Ms Wrede. Enchanted Forest Chronicles are my favorite "Sensible Princess" books.

woohoo following! very nice to see you venturing into the bleak uncharted blue wastelands of the Tumblrs :D

I almost have a use for tumblr now ... but I don't need another format in which to ineffectively comminicate with people.

Your reference to Canadian Heritage Minutes is noted with approval.

-- Steve also rather likes the sketches.

It says you are using Paper. Have you tried the Pencil (stylus) from FiftyThree?

Not yet--it's kinda steep to test-drive on a whim! My next expensive stylus will be from Wacom, since I trust their brand...we'll see if I continue to be frustrated by tablets.

As I said on tumblr, as someone who survived the flame wars of the old Woodchat mailing list, I'm sure you'll be fiiiine.

That first set of rabbit sketches reminds me of Golden Book illustrations from my childhood. So incredibly adorable and expressive!

*dashes over to tumblr and follows*

And here I thought I already followed you by following fuckyeahursulavernon. They must be a big fan, whoever they are!
