Garden Journal November 23

I don't know that there's much more going on in the garden until spring hits. Maybe I should just go to a general journal...

You could always do "Animals of the Great Indoors".

Plenty of models, and an ever-popular subject.

It's the time of year for flocks of robins around here (Oregon) too. The other day I saw a bunch in my hawthorn tree, and it reminded me of the flock that gathers this time of year beneath a certain persimmon tree on the university campus, to finish off the fruit.

"i missed doing this . . ."

I hadn't realized till now (as I possess a black thumb myself*) that I missed your doing this. I'm glad to see that you're feeling well enough to pick it up again: Ursula's journaling, all's right with the world. Since it IS something you miss doing, I second your motion for general entries when the mood strikes.

*I killed an air plant. Yes, really.

"My mother, she killed me,
My father, he ate me,
My sister Marlene,
Gathered all my bones,
Tied them in a silken scarf,
Laid them beneath the juniper tree,
Tweet, tweet, what a beautiful bird am I..."

New Hound is a pretty one.

New hound has a very curly tail, with that and her colouring I wonder if she has a bit of Akita or similar breed in her.

Alert hound is alert! Monster Alice says, "Nice tail!"

Garden Hen has a cuppa, and looks pretty serene. Missed the garden pages - thanks. :)

You can always give us poses of New Hound looking for whatever birds may still be around - she does have a marvelous circle-tail!

And seconding happiness that you are feeling better - I too love your journaling.
