At last, the lemonlopes!

http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/8765414/

This one is smaller than the previous two--the composition didn't want to go long or tall. But that's okay. I'm hoping to do more, of course--if nothing else, the first two sold so fast!--'cos they're just...cool, damnit. And I have no shortage of ideas. I mean, once you get into the mode where you start combining the animal and vegetable kingdoms, it's hard to shut off. You wake in the night, brain afire with hippotatos and burrowing carrots.

Okay, maybe that's just me.

But nevertheless, I shouldn't force 'em, and I've got the hooded donkey's next adventure in the works to keep me occupied for now, so we'll see what happens next.

Nestwatch #4

There are two tiny gaping maws in the nest. They are unbelievably ugly little things, (as all baby birds are) all membrane covered eyes and lumpy blue-black-pink squishy bodies. I am enthralled.

Show on walrus. Ecstatic. So wonderful! The lumpy! The flabby! The bristly! God, I wanna be a walrus.

Lots of painting ideas. It's the clayboard. They're coming so thick and fast that I cannot even begin to hit 'em all. Even if I wasn't swamped with work, I couldn't get them all. My personal irony--the desire to do a painting of an artist overwhelmed by ideas and unable to find time to paint them all, but being unable to find time to paint it.

I am not asking for fewer ideas, but if they'd form some orderly queues, or line up alphabetically, or even just not all yammer in my ear at once, it would be easier on all of us.
