Four jobs I've had:
*Insurance fraud claim reviewer (ask me about this one sometime when I haven't whined my full quota recently.)
*Street light outage hotline operator
*In-house texture artist
Four movies I can watch over and over:
*The Fellowship of the Ring
*Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon
*The Court Jester
*Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (Okay, probably not now, but as a kid, I watched this one like fifty bizillion times. Daily, in fact. I think that's why I wanted to be an anthropologist.)
Four places I have lived:
*St. Paul, MN
*Yokosuka, Japan (would that I had been old enough to remember it!)
Four TV shows I love to watch:
Four places I've been on vacation:
*Duluth, MN (yes, I went here on vacation once. Deliberately.)
*Albuquerque, NM (I don't think we were planning on vacationing there, but when all the tires blew simultaneously, we made the best of it...)
*Berlin-Ichthyosaur State Park, Nevada
Four of my favorite dishes:
*I will confess a weakness for deep-fried cheese curds.
*Teriyaki chicken. The kind you get at some little Japanese fast food places on the West Coast, and in the middle of Chicago for some reason, which I CANNOT find anywhere, or duplicate, but where the sauce is thick and brown and opaque instead of runny and clear. I don't know what's in it, I don't neccessarily want to know, but I would walk through fire to find it again.
*James's apple-and-pork teriyaki kebabs, when he can be persuaded to make them.
Four websites I visit daily:
*The Straight Dope
Four places I'd rather be right now:
* Havin' coffee at the Toad.
* Costa Rica (I hear the birding is exquisite!)
* Arizona (in the winter, a truly fabulous climate)
* Australia (Birds. Wombats. Who could ask for more?)
