Got James to hang some art for me, and spent a bit of time in the garden, doing the last gardening of the year (i.e. yanking out the dead annuals and trimming down the dead non-seed-bearing perennials.) Everybody's been mulched already, so now the garden is pretty much done for the year. It looks much tidier with all the frost killed stuff out. I still have one bed to do--all my dead lantana's gotta go--but overall, I'm pleased with what I got done.
Yesterday, Athena actually licked the tip of Ben's tail. This is definite progress. Ben has decided that he's now a lap cat, so he keeps hopping up in my lap and snuggling for a bit, then hopping down. He spent a good hour sprawled out on my legs on the couch. Then he nipped James. So I guess it's two steps forward, one step back--but at least we keep making forward progress...
I think I need to reorganize my studio. This is probably the PMS talking, but I'm getting that crawling "I CANNOT WORK UNDER THESE CONDITIONS!" feeling. A good chunk of the studio never actually got unpacked, so that's probably part of it...
