This is completely and totally Eve's fault.

Well, and maybe Megatokyo.

I awww-ed out loud at that one.

Awww, now I want to pick up the lil' wombat and huggle them until they smile!

Awww, poor little wombat!!

Speaking of wombats, I just stopped by Digger and had a little moment of *glee!* at the kiva :)

I've been making 'wibble' noises since I saw that. It's so very, very sad. If art is judged by the emotional reaction in the viewer, Sad Wombat wins a prize.

Poor wombat, needs some soup, a scarf, and a hug. (Help yourself to some virtual hugs as well Ursula!)

Considering that I'm on March Break and the windchill was not supposed to be an issue this week -- in fact the weatherman told us we'd be above the norm (liar!) -- but Monday we had -39C and Tuesday we were just as cold, and yesterday and today, I feel like that little wombat.

Every now and then someone shouts at me "Go to your happy place Arie! Naked Men in the Kitchen!" and all is right in the world. :)

Maybe I'm an insensitive clod, but I can't help laughing out loud when I look at that. It's probably the MT reference, because the little wombat looks just as sad as can be, just like the SGIS that Fred do.

It's such a pain trying to maintain proper case and plurality in abbreviation mode.

My heart BREAKS at your personal anguish shown in this picture, Ursula.

A few links:

The first is what I personally think of as "Sad Girl in Snow" but it's a recurring theme in much of his other work.

Just in case you're curious. If not, feel free to disregard. ^_^

for some reason the words "I lost my turnip" jumped into my mind, there arn't exactly a lot of turnips lying around here. So I don't know why a wombat would have one to lose in the first place, the mind boggles.

I really, really, really want a plushie of that. O_O

Poor thing! I love the little droopy paws.. "This stuff is all cold! And wet! And it doesn't pack right! How'm I supposed to DIG!?"

Looking at sad things makes me sad :(
I want to hug him, he's painfully cute. I think you're going to have to take full responsibility for that one.
